These one day courses are designed to help you get the most from your software, your PAT Tester and ancillary equipment, and save you time and money, as well as improve  the performance of your PAT Testing Business, leading to improved customer service.

InTuition accept a maximum of 6 candidates on each software course, which enables us to give attention to individuals. We also provide  Laptops, and Software, for every candidate to practise with. Candidates can also bring their own software and equipment - see below*

Why use PAT Testing Software?
PAT Testing Software automates the task of scheduling retests and speeds up result recording and the production of reports.  If you only have around say 200 items to test then a paper management system may suffice, but you can spend more time recording the data than actually testing the equipment.

Not sure which to buy?  These courses give you the chance to try out your preferred software before you buy, as well as training you how to use it. With the cost of PAT Testing Software starting at around £350 + VAT, it can save you making an expensive mistake.

What type of software is covered in your courses?
Currently, we train the Seaward range of software (PatGuard Lite®, PaTGuard Pro® and PatGuard Elite®), and RSR Systems' SimplyPats®, as these are the ones we are asked about the most often.  We may add Robin's PowerPat Plus®  later, if we get sufficient demand.

What do I need?
We provide everything that you will need on the day (see What's Included?). Every candidate has the use of a laptop and software, a PAT tester to download/upload to, and access to a printer to produce reports.

No previous knowledge of the Software is required as the training courses are fully comprehensive. They are suitable for beginners, with only basic or no knowledge of their software, or for those already working in the PAT Testing field wishing to upgrade their test equipment and working methods.

To get the best from your software it is highly recommended that you already hold a Certificate of Competence in Portable Appliance Testing.  We offer a package deal if you book a PAT testing Course at the same time as the Software Course. Save £30 - see below for details

*Delegates are also welcome to bring their own laptop, PAT Tester and software. Please note: although the trainer can help you resolve downloading problems, show you how to set up your software etc, they do not have time during the course to resolve any PC problems, or difficulties with Windows® software etc, as this would not be fair on the other candidates.

• To pay using Paypal or a Credit/Debit Card:
  Select the required venue and date from the list below and click on the Book Now Button.  We use Paypal to process our Online Payments and you will be taken directly to their website. You don't need to hold a Paypal account as you can also pay by credit or debit card. Just follow Paypal's on-screen instructions.

If you require several candidates to be trained then simply amend the quantity. Please enter your candidates names on the Paypal form. Paypal will issue you with a receipt.

• To pay by Cheque:
  Please email us/call us first to check availability.  We will reserve a place for you or, your candidate(s), while we await your cheque.  Please download a booking form (click here to get a copy), complete the form as fully as possible and include this with your payment.  You can verify prices etc using the list of courses below. • To pay by BACS:
  Please email us/call us first to check availability.  We will reserve a place for you, or your candidate(s), while we await your payment.  Please download a booking form (click here to get a copy), complete the form as fully as possible and email this back to us - or fax to 0208 0825451.  You can verify prices etc using the list of courses below.  To make a BACS payment quote: Name - InTuition PAT Training Services, Sort Code - 72-00-00, Account No - 05594871.  Enter the location & course date as the reference number.

  After we get notice of your booking we will confirm this by email. Your Joining Instructions will be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to the course commencement, with details of the venue, course times, parking etc.

  We offer a £30 discount if you book both a PAT Testing Course and a PAT Software Course at the same time.  Just deduct £30 from the total if paying by cheque or BACs. We will refund your discount if paying by PayPal.
